This scholarship is by invitation only.  Organizations that are invited to apply will receive an electronic invitation containing the scholarship code.  Priority will be given to applicants from organizations that have not attended HO203, Part 2 at one of our NeighborWorks Training Institutes or Placed Based Trainings.

Applicants mut be with a NeighborWorks organization.  This scholarship is by invitation only.

NCHEC/HUD NTI Scholarship US Dept of HUD and NCHEC NCHEC/HUD NTI Scholarship
  • Must be staff of a HUD-Approved Housing Counseling Agency.  This includes affiliates of National Intermediaries or staff from Locally Approved Housing Counseling Agency
  • Eligibility will be confirmed based on a valid HUD ID number, which must be indicated when applying for scholarships and registering for training events.
  • Each agency may receive up to ONE scholarship per calendar year (subject to demand and availability, additional scholarships may be available).

NFMC NTI Scholarship NeighborWorks America

Must be staff of a qualified nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. This includes both HUD-Approved housing counseling agencies and others who are not HUD-Approved.

Organization and staff must be providing foreclosure counseling activities, and/or working toward providing foreclosure counseling activities. The intent of program is to strengthen and build mortgage mitigation counseling services.

Individual's employment status and the organization's 501(c)(3) status may be confirmed. Depending on scholarship availability, board members of qualified nonprofits may receive scholarships. Staff of state and local municipalities may also be considered on a limited basis.

NeighborWorks America reserves the right to give priority based on individual’s job responsibilities (e.g., front-line foreclosure counselor) and proximity to training event.
