HUD-Sponsored Virtual Classroom Training 2021 April-May

NCHEC/HUD Virtual Based Training
Given the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, NeighborWorks America continues to offer cutting edge training that combines online faculty-led training with self-directed learning. In partnership with the HUD Office of Housing Counseling, NeighborWorks is offering scholarships to attend a HUD Virtual Training. This online training event includes:
- a one-week or multi-week faculty-led course
- one self-guided course or webinar course – a two-for-one value!
- new learner pathways for housing counselors and financial capability practitioners
- continuing education for NCHEC certifications from all course options
Scholarships will cover one faculty-led online course that meets weekly for 3-4 weeks.
The courses include facilitated live sessions, assignments, reading, peer sharing discussions, and downloadable materials. Faculty-led trainings take approximately 3-5 hours per week, including 90 minutes in the virtual classroom and up to 3.5 hours of self-study.
